SIMPLY CLEVER PODCAST 2.0: ŠKODA 1100 OHC Coupé
At the end of the 1950s, two ŠKODA coupes derived from the 1100 OHC roadster began to race at Czech road races. Although they were relatively successful at local races, their racing careers were not very long - the 1960s brought with them a new category of racing cars and the OHC coupes retired.

Enthusiasts from ŠKODA Česana bought the two cars, but in the end, both were written off in crashes. One of them even burned down for the most part and the unique all-aluminum body was not preserved. Nevertheless, today's SIMPLY CLEVER PODCAST 2.0 will be about this copy of the beautiful coupe, which was nicknamed the Czech E-type. Several years ago, ŠKODA Museum employees joined forces with the ŠKODA AUTO prototype center and revived this burnt-out coupe - thanks to the historic plans, modern technologies, but above all the great enthusiasm and determination of everyone involved.
